35mm Film Wedding Photographer In Norfolk

The Art of 35mm Film Photography

35mm film is where it all began for me. Long before I was capturing weddings and love stories across Norfolk, I was experimenting in the darkroom at school—developing my own black and white film, building pinhole cameras from coffee tins, and falling head over heels for the timeless, soulful quality of analog photography. My first ever film camera was a Kodak Retinette 1B, and from there, the collection grew. I now shoot mostly on my trusty Pentax, with the occasional snap on a little Fuji point-and-shoot for those spontaneous in-between moments.

There’s just something magical about film. The grain. The tones. The texture. It captures light in a way that digital can’t quite replicate—warm, nostalgic, and honest. When you choose to include 35mm film photography as part of your wedding day, you’re not just getting photos—you’re getting a piece of art. Each image is shot with intention, hand-loaded, developed with care, and completely unique. No filters. No presets. Just beautifully imperfect, emotionally rich storytelling.
